Multiples and Vacancy

Definition:
Information for multiples and vacancy are given for selected locations, normally these are the prime-pitch (1a-Lage), important inner-city secondary locations (1b-Lage) and suburban Shopping Centres or Retail Parks with more than 20,000 sqm retail space.

A retail unit being part of a chain of at least 5 units (on a local, regional, national or international scope) are defined as multiples here.

The vacancy rate is based on the number of vacant units and not referring to floorspace.

The tenant churn is the number of tenants being different from the last survey. As tenant information is usually collected once a year, temporary lettings or very-short-term tennants will not be included in this number.
